In 1861 Thomas and Ann lived next door to William and his family. Thomas was a builder. Between 1861 and 1881 he was a Carrier in Muswell Hill, London. In 1871 he was listed as a shopkeeper. In Mar 1891 he was a Carman in Hornsey, Middlesex. He died in Sep 1891 in Hackney, Middlesex.

Spouse: Mary UNKNOWN. William GRAVES and Mary UNKNOWN were married about 1855. They lived in St. James' Lanne, Muswell Hill, Hornsey, Middlesex between 1861 and 1881. It is difficult to track William and Mary's children as they were not enumerated at home - even when they were quite young.
In 1861 the children were Thomas (5), Louisa (3), William (2) and two unnamed infants - Alfred and Jane were 12 days old. Also living with the family were William's brother, Thomas Graves, (a carried aged 28) and a nurse Mary Archer.
In 1871 only Louisa (13) is at home. Thomas Graves (brother) is next door with his own family.
In 1881 only Emma (17) is at home.
In 1891 only Louisa (32) is still at home. They lived in Alfred Cottage, Hornsey, Middlesex in Mar 1891. Children were: Thomas GRAVES, Louisa GRAVES, William GRAVES, Alfred GRAVES, Jane GRAVES, Emma GRAVES.
