Jane Morris Hayles married George Alexander Robinson on 26 May 1863 at St. James' Church, East Cowes, Isle of Wight. She had ten children between the years 1868 and 1887 as she followed her husband on his Army tours of duty.

In the 1911 Census she stated that she had had thirteen live births.
