55. Jonathan WALSHAW was born about 1796 in Hoylandswaine, Yorkshire. He was christened on 18 Sep 1796 in Silkstone, Yorkshire. Between 1841 and 1871 he was a Farm Labourer in Carr Head, Hoylandswaine, Yorkshire. It is interesting to note that Jonathan lived next door to the Hepplestones at Carr Head, Hoylandswaine. The next farm at West Thorpe was run by his nephew Job Beaumont (AKA Walshaw, b1805, Hoylandswaine) a Farmer of 50 acres and they were close to Benjamin Silverwood (b1803) at Bump Hall. Carr Head was run by the Farmer Charles Crowther (66 acres) in 1861 and by the Farmer Richard Taylor in 1871 (88 acres). He was named as an Executor of his brother Benjamin Walshaw in 1847. He died on 24 Jul 1871 in Hoylandswaine, Yorkshire.
