164. Noah ROBERTS was born about 1834 in Mirfield, Yorkshire. He was christened on 12 Jul 1835 in St Nicholas' Church, Cumberworth, Yorkshire. Between 1851 and 1891 he was a Coal Miner. He lived in Castleford, Yorkshire in 1861. He was one of the nine coal miners who were boarders with his brother John and his family. He lived in 9 St. John's Square, Ryhill, Hemsworth, Barnsley, Yorkshire in 1901. Noah was a widower and had a boarder.

Noah ROBERTS and Elizabeth MELLOR were married about 1861 in Wakefield, Yorkshire. They lived in Mapplewell, Darton, Yorkshire in 1871. Noah and Elizabeth had a boarder. They lived in Halls Buildings, Ryhill, Hemsworth, Barnsley, Yorkshire in 1881. Noah and Elizabeth had two visitors - a niece and a nephew Elizabeth Mellor (aged 13 born in Mapplewell) and Noah Mellor (aged 6 born in Mapplewell). They lived in 9 St. John's Square, Ryhill, Hemsworth, Barnsley, Yorkshire in 1891. Their nephew Noah (aged 16 and now called Roberts) was a Trammer in a colliery and he lived with them. Elizabeth MELLOR was born about 1840 in New Miller Dam, Wakefield, Yorkshire. Her parents were William and Mary/Mariah Mellor and she had at least two brothers and a sister who were also born at New Miller Dam - Thomas (b.1842), Hannah (b.1845) and George (b.1850).
