3. Mehetabel BOOTHROYD was born on 6 Apr 1847 in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. Mehetabel was named after a Biblical character who was the wife of Hadad, the King of Edom. She died on 26 Aug 1884 in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. She died soon after Joseph Euel's birth. The baby also died.

Mehetabel BOOTHROYD and George KENWORTHY were married on 26 Jul 1876 in Netherfield Independent Chapel, Penistone, Yorkshire. George was a widower at the time of his marriage to Mehetabel. He had married Eliza Townend (b.4 May 1840) from Shelley in 1862 and had had Emily Jane (b.4 April 1865) and James Edward (b.1870). Shortly after the birth of George Thomas (17 November 1874) his wife died and was buried at All Hallows Church in Kirkburton on 25 November 1874. On 29 November 1874 the baby George Thomas was buried with his mother. George married Mehetabel two years later.
After Mehetabel's death in 1884 he married Sarah Wood (b.23 November 1843) in 1885. She was a woman from Shepley and was five years older than George. They lived in Far Bank, Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire in 1881. George KENWORTHY was born on 23 Apr 1837 in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. In 1871 he was a Master tailor employing one man and four boys in Bank Bottom, Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. George and his first wife Eliza lived with Emily and James In 1881 he was a Master Tailor employing five men and three boys in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. In 1891 he was a Tailor and Grocer in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. His wife, Sarah, was listed as a Grocer. James, Thomas and Sarah plus one servant lived with them in Far Bank, Shelley. The boys were Tailors like their father. He lived in Bottom of School Row, Far Bank, Shelley, Huddersfield in 1901. School Row has about eight large three storey terraced houses in it. It is likely that George lived in the same place all his adult life. Right up to the 1960s there were Kenworthys living in the end house at the bottom of School Board Terrace in a house next to the school, when Mr and Mrs Kenworthy and their daughter Julia lived there. In 1901 he was a Tailor in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Mehetabel BOOTHROYD and George KENWORTHY had the following children:

Lois Ann KENWORTHY was born on 7 Aug 1880 in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. She died about 1882 in Shelley, Huddersfield, Yorkshire.
