6. George SILVERWOOD was born on 25 Apr 1808 in Hoylandswaine, Yorkshire. He was christened on 22 May 1808 in Penistone, Yorkshire. In 1851 he was a Woollen Worker in Wooldale, Yorkshire. In 1861 he was a Farmer of 12 acres in Wooldale, Yorkshire. In 1871 he was a Labourer in Wooldale, Yorkshire. He died about 1875. He was buried on 27 Dec 1875 in Hepworth, Yorkshire.

George SILVERWOOD and Mary HAIGH were married on 2 Aug 1830 in Kirkburton, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. They lived in Scholes Moor, Wooldale, Yorkshire between 1851 and 1871. In 1851 George and Mary lived with their children Joseph, Martha, Mary, George and Hannah. In 1861 only Joseph, Martha, George and Hannah were at home. In 1871 Martha and George were still unmarried and lived at home. Mary HAIGH was born about 1808 in Fulstone,Yorkshire. She died about 1885. George SILVERWOOD and Mary HAIGH had the following children:

37	ii.	Joseph SILVERWOOD was born about 1836 in Cartworth, Holmfirth, Yorkshire. In 1861 he was a Labourer in Wooldale, Yorkshire. In 1861 he was a Wool Power Loom Weaver in Wooldale, Yorkshire.
38	iii.	Timothy SILVERWOOD was born about 1837.
39	iv.	Martha SILVERWOOD was born about 1839 in Cartworth, Holmfirth, Yorkshire. In 1871 she was a Housemaid at home in Wooldale, Yorkshire.
40	v.	Mary SILVERWOOD was born about 1843 in Wooldale, Yorkshire.
41	vi.	George SILVERWOOD was born about 1845 in Wooldale, Yorkshire. In 1861 he was a Wool Power Loom Weaver in Wooldale, Yorkshire. In 1871 he was a Woollen Worker in Wooldale, Yorkshire.
42	vii.	Hannah SILVERWOOD was born about 1847 in Wooldale, Yorkshire.
