25. William SCAMMELL was born about 1778 in Ringwood, Hampshire. He was christened on 25 Dec 1786 in Ringwood, Hampshire. In 1870 he was a Farmer in Burley, Hampshire. He died of Syncope (certified) on 6 Jul 1870 in Burley, Hampshire.

William SCAMMELL and Hannah BREWER were married on 23 Jan 1816 in Ringwood, Hampshire. They lived in Street Cottage, Burley, Hampshire between 1867 and 1870. William lived in a freehold property. He also rented out Tate's Cottage and Hyde's Cottage as well as Chalky Plot. Hannah BREWER was born about 1795. She died on 2 Mar 1886 in Burley, Hampshire. William SCAMMELL and Hannah BREWER had the following children:

In her father's Will she did not receive a bequest because 'God has abundantly blessed her in her basket and her store'.

Lill on 17 Jun 1848 in Dorset and lived in Port Elliot, South Australia. In her father's Will she did not receive a bequest because 'God has abundantly blessed her in her basket and her store'.

She died on 9 Nov 1914 in Burley, Hampshire. In her father's Will of 6 August 1867, he makes provision for Emma as he considers her in an 'imbecile state'. He considered it his duty to do all that could be done for his 'afflicted and feeble daughter'. He makes provision that Henry should act as her parent or forfeit the lands and houses bequeathed to him. If Henry were to forfeit his bequest a similar condition would be laid on his sons George and Joseph in their turn.
