6. William ROBINSON was born on 18 Nov 1844 in Doon, Limerick, Ireland. He was christened on 30 Nov 1844 in Doon, Limerick, Ireland. He emigrated on 22 Jul 1865 from London to Auckland, New Zealand. The family sailed from London on the 22nd July 1865 on the Aliquis (1121 tons, Captain John Davidson) with 125 passengers on board. It arrived in Auckland ninety one days later on 25 October 1865. In 1873 he was a Reporter in Shortland, Thames, New Zealand. In 1910 he was a Journalist in Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand.

William ROBINSON and Julia MCNAMARA were married on 15 Apr 1873 in St Francis of Assisi Church, Thames, Auckland, New Zealand. The witnesses were: Alexander Brodie an Engineer from Grahamstown, Emily Marston from Parawai, Charles Kay from Shortland and Annie Kay from Parnell. Julia MCNAMARA emigrated on 3 Jan 1865 from Auckland, New Zealand. Pat and Mary McNamara and their two children Daniel and Julia left Gravesend on 3rd January 1865 en route for Auckland on the Belgravia. The Captain was named Jackson. On line records show no passengers but the McNamaras are recorded on the Auckland Area Passenger Arrivals list when they arrived on 10 May 1865. She signed a will in 1920 in Auckland, New Zealand. When Julia originally drew up her will she made Frederick and Mary Jane the executors. However Mary Jane died later the same year and was replaced by Annie Ethel. She left her estate to be shared between her children Mary Jane, Annie Ethel, Florence Katherine and Frederick. When Mary Jane died her share was to be divided between the other three. A witness to the amended will was a musician, Daisy Vere Brassey. We can presume that George Robert, Catherine Alice, like Clarence Harold, had already died. On her death Julia left £1,063 3s 6d. She lived in Gibraltar Crescent, Parnell, Auckland, Australia in 1920. She died on 6 May 1929 in Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand. At her death she was a widow. She had her estate probated on 20 Aug 1929 in Auckland, New Zealand. William ROBINSON and Julia MCNAMARA had the following children:
