5. Joseph MALLINSON was christened on 29 May 1803 in St. Nicholas' Church, Cumberworth, Yorkshire. He was born about 1803 in Denby, Yorkshire. He was buried on 8 Mar 1830 in St. John's Church, Penistone, Yorkshire. He died about 1830 in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. He was a Weaver.

Joseph MALLINSON and Harriet ROBINSON were married on 27 Dec 1824 in St. John's Church, Penistone, Yorkshire. After her husband, Joseph Mallinson's death in 1830 Harriet remained a widow until 8 May 1842 when she married William Wade, a widower. He was a Cloth Finisher and his father, Thomas, had been a Cordwainer. The witnesses to the marriage were Isaac Hinchcliffe and Benjamin Milnes. William Wade was an Agricultural Labourer who had been born in Shelley. They set up home in Denby Dale and they had two children, Joe (b.1842) and Fanny (b.1845) and James Mallinson (Harriet's son) lived with them in 1851. William died in 1858 and Harriet was, once again, a widow. In 1861 she, Joseph Wade (a Cloth Finisher) and Fanny Wade (a Factory Girl) lived at Hinchcliffe Bottom, Denby Dale, with James Mallinson. Harriet ROBINSON was born about 1805 in Denby, Yorkshire. Her father was John Robinson, a Farmer. Joseph MALLINSON and Harriet ROBINSON had the following children:

James MALLINSON was born about 1827 in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. He was christened on 16 Sep 1827 in St. Nicholas' Church, Cumberworth, Yorkshire. In 1851 he was an Agricultural Labourer in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. He lived with his mother and step-father. He lived in Hinchcliffe Bottom, Denby Dale, Yorkshire in 1861. He lived with his widowed mother and half brother and half- sister. He died on 25 Oct 1896 in Denby, Yorkshire. He signed a will. He named William Mallinson and Albert Sykes, nephew, as executors.
