52. George ARMITAGE was born about 1856 in Hoylandswaine, Yorkshire. In 1871 he was a Coal Hurrier in Thurgoland, Yorkshire. In 1881 he was a Coal Miner in Wombwell, Yorkshire.

George ARMITAGE and Sarah A GOLDTHORPE lived in 159 Hemingfield, Wombwell, Yorkshire in 1881. They lived in Hill Top, Silkstone, Yorkshire in 1891. In 1891, Thomas Goldthorpe, a brother-in-law, lived with the family. They lived in 6 Mount Pleasant, Silkstone, Yorkshire in 1901.
