Both marked the register with their cross. Both fathers, Isaac Hayles and William Hayward, were labourers. The witnesses were Isaac Hayles and Sarah Griffin. Sarah HAYWARD was born about 1830 in Shalfleet, Isle of Wight. Her parents were William and Martha Hayward. She was christened on 5 Dec 1830 in Calbourne, Isle of Wight.
