16. William Morris HAYLES was born on 19 Jul 1835 in Whippingham, Isle of Wight. He was christened on 9 Aug 1835 in Whippingham, Isle of Wight. In 1851 he was an Errand Boy in East Cowes, Isle of Wight. In 1861 he was a Bricklayer's Labourer in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. In 1881 he was a General Labourer and a Dairyman with 3 acres in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. In 1891 he was an Agricultural Labourer in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. In 1901 he was a Gardener working at home in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. He died on 11 Aug 1911 in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. He was buried on 16 Aug 1911 in Mountjoy Cemetery, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. He was buried in Plot W330.

William Morris HAYLES and Mary Ann COOLEY were married on 7 Sep 1857 in St James' Church, East Cowes, Isle of Wight. At the time of her marriage, Mary Ann's father had a probably died as he was not mentioned on the marriage certificate. They lived in Forest Side, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight between 1861 and 1901. Mary Ann COOLEY was born about 1832 in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. Mary Ann's parents were Benjamin and Susanna Cooley of Forest Side, Carisbrooke. Susanna was also known as Susan. She had been born in 1788 in Weymouth, Dorset and in 1851 was a widow at Forest Side and the keeper of a market garden. She was christened on 21 Oct 1832 in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. Mary Ann was christened on the same day as her brother James (b1830 - Weymouth, Dorset). In 1851, James was a Gardener Labourer at his mother's market garden at Forest Side, Carisbrooke. She died on 3 Sep 1911 in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. She was buried in Mountjoy Cemetery, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. William Morris HAYLES and Mary Ann COOLEY had the following children:
