12. George DERBYSHIRE was born about 1825 in Flood Gates, Bottoms, Marple, Cheshire. He was christened on 15 Nov 1825 in Mill Brow, Cheshire. He lived in Canal Buildings, Marple, Cheshire in 1841. In 1841, George and his sister Jane lived with the Vernons. In 1844 he was a Carder in Bosden, Cheshire. In 1851 he was a Factory Hand in Marple, Cheshire. Between 1856 and 1870 he was an Overlooker at a Cotton Mill in Marple, Cheshire. As the place of his childrens' birth moved from Flood Gates to Brick Bridge we can assume that he became an overlooker in about 1856. In 1871 he was a Watchman in Marple, Cheshire. He died of bronchitis (chronic several years) and valvular disease of the heart (3 months) on 5 Dec 1880 in Marple, Cheshire. He was buried on 9 Dec 1880 in All Saints Church, Marple, Cheshire.

George DERBYSHIRE and Diana WARHURST were married on 17 Jun 1844 in Cheadle, Cheshire. They lived in Flood Gates, Bottoms, Marple, Cheshire in 1851. They lived in Brick Bridge, Marple, Cheshire between 1858 and 1881. Diana WARHURST (daughter of William WARHURST and Sarah UNKNOWN) was born about 1819 in Marple, Cheshire.
