Edwin VERNON and Margaret Ann DAVOLL were married about 1871 in Wolstanton, Staffordshire. They lived in 22 Wardlow Street, Beswick, Manchester, Lancashire in 1881. Edwin and Margaret lived with their children Albert, Samuel, Harry, Mary Harriet and 11 day old Lilian. They lived in 13 Sherwood Street, Newton, Lancashire in 1891. Albert VERNON was born about 1871 in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire. In 1891 he was a Cotton Doubler in Newton, Lancashire. Albert married Agnes Louisa Morton (b.1876 Birmingham, Warwickshire) in Beswick, Manchester in 1898 and they had a daughter Doris in 1899. In 1901 Albert, Agnes and Doris had his sisters Mary Harriet and Lilian living with them at 150 Bradford Road, Manchester.

Samuel VERNON was born about 1874 in Manchester, Lancashire. In 1891 he was a Cotton Scavenger in Newton, Lancashire. In 1898 he married Jane Smith (b.1875 Manchester) in Manchester and they had a daughter Hilda in 1899. In 1901 they lived at 51 Wardle Street, Manchester and his brothers Harry and Edwin lived with them. Samuel was a cotton spinner.
