29. Thomas DERBYSHIRE was born about 1838 in Marple, Cheshire. He lived in Stockport Union Workhouse, Stockport, Cheshire in 1851. He lived in Smithy House, Whaley, Cheshire in 1861. In 1861 he was a Servant in Whaley, Cheshire. Thomas was a Servant for the Blacksmith James Jackson. He was probably an Apprentice. In 1871 he was a Blacksmith in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire. He died about 1880 in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire.

Thomas DERBYSHIRE and Sarah Ellen STAFFORD were married on 7 Sep 1868 in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire. They lived in Hallstead, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire in 1871. Sarah Ellen STAFFORD was born about 1848 in Bugsworth, Derbyshire. Sarah Ellen's parents were John Stafford (b.1825 Bugsworth) and Hannah Needham (1824-1889). They had eight children:- Martha (1847), Sarah Ellen (1848), Mary Selina (1850), John W. (1854), James E. (1857), Hannah (1860), Joseph (1862) and Emma (1865). John was a lime kiln labourer in 1851, a stone quarry labourer in 1861, a lime picker in 1871 and a general labourer at the lime kilns in 1881. In fact they were most likely all the same job!. She lived in Bugswoth Green, Derbyshire in 1851. Sarah lived with her parents and her two sisters. She lived in Brierley Green, derbyshire in 1861. Sarah lived with her parents and siblings. She lived in Hallstead, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire between 1881 and 1901. Sarah Ellen and her family continued to live in the same house all their lives. Thomas DERBYSHIRE and Sarah Ellen STAFFORD had the following children:
