10. Abraham DEARNLEY was born on 23 Mar 1824 in Cat Hill, Hoylandswaine, Yorkshire. He was christened on 18 Apr 1824 in Penistone, Yorkshire. In 1851 he was a Farm Labourer in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. In 1861 he was a Field and Stone Waller in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. In 1871 he was a Railway Repairer and Farmer of 17 acres in Salt Pie, High Flatts, Denby, Yorkshire. In 1881 he was a Farmer of 18 acres in Salt Pie, High Flatts, Denby, Yorkshire. He died on 6 Oct 1896 in Birdsedge, Yorkshire.

Abraham DEARNLEY and Mary HAGUE were married on 26 May 1845 in St. John's Church, Penistone, Yorkshire. They lived in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire between 1851 and 1861. They lived in Salt Pie, High Flatts, Denby, Yorkshire between 1871 and 1881. In 1871 Abraham and Mary lived with their unmarried children Hannah, Jane, Henry, Charles, Fred, Irving and Arthur. A granddaughter Sarah Ellen Dearnley aged 3 and a female granddaughter of four days also lived with the family. Were these Hannah's children?
In 1881 Fred, Irving and Arthur were still at home. Sarah Ellen also still lived with her grandparents as did their married son, John. Mary HAGUE was born about 1826 in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. Mary was one of the ten children of Uriah Hague and Sarah Holmes. Uriah had been born in Ingbirchworth on 11 June 1797 and christened at Denby Church on 9 July 1797. Hannah DEARNLEY was born about 1848 in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. In 1871 she was a Home Worker in Salt Pie, High Flatts, Denby, Yorkshire. Hannah married Thomas Beaumont in 1878 and they had two children. She died on 23 Apr 1909. She was buried in the Quaker Burial Ground at High Flatts.

Henry DEARNLEY was born about 1853 in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. In 1871 he was a Railway Repairer in Salt Pie, High Flatts, Denby, Yorkshire. In 1874 Henry married Emma Beaumont. She was the daughter of William and Mary Beaumont from Birdsedge. Emma already had an illegitimate daughter Ada (b.1873 Birdsedge). In 1881 they lived at 3 Parkhead Road in Cumberworth and Henry was a stone mason. They lived with Ada (now known as Dearnley), Edwin (b. 1874 Birdsedge), Lewis (b.1879 Cumberworth) and Ellen (b.1881 Cumberworth). Emma died in 1885 and in 1891 Henry was a widower living at Bank Top, Thurstonland with Sarah Walker (sister-in-law) and Lewis and Ellen. Henry married Amelia Peace in 1894 and they had two children.
