97. Elizabeth BURDETT was christened on 10 Apr 1803 in Emley, Yorkshire. She was born about 1803 in Skelmanthorpe, Yorkshire. She died about 1862 in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. She was buried on 21 Oct 1862 in St. Nicholas' Church, Cumberworth, Yorkshire.

Elizabeth BURDETT and Theophilus SENIOR were married on 12 May 1823 in All Hallows Church, Kirkburton, Yorkshire. They married by Banns and were both "of this parish". They lived in Denby Dale, Yorkshire between 1841 and 1862. In 1841 the address was Cliff Style and Theophilus and Elizabeth lived with their 8 eldest children.
In 1851 Theophilus and Elizabeth lived with Ann (and her illegitimate son Tedbar), Mary, Eliza, Hannah, James, William and George.
In 1861 they lived with Mary (and her illegitimate son Fred), James and George. Theophilus SENIOR was born about 1801 in Cumberworth, Yorkshire. Theophilus was one of the ten children of Joseph Senior and Elizabeth Wood. They had married in Cumberworth on 14 November 1785. Their children were:- Thomas (1786), Theophilus (1788-1788), John (1790-1790), Joshua (1793), Mary (1795), Alice (1797), Theophilus (1801), John (1802), Jane (1805) and Samuel (1807). The eldest four boys were christened at the church but the youngest were christened at Denby Dale Chapel (Cumberworth). In 1841 he was a Fancy Weaver in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. In 1851 he was a Hand Loom Weaver Silk and Worsted in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. In 1861 he was a Worsted Weaver in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. He lived in Denby Dale, Yorkshire between 1862 and 1871. Thomas was a widower but he lived with Mary (and her son Fred) and Eliza Heeley (his widowed daughter) and her sons Norris Heeley (b.1860) and Joe Heeley (b.1862) as well as his son George. He lived in Denby Dale, Yorkshire in 1881. Theophilus Senior was a widower and also at the house were Theophilus' grandson, Fred and his wife Martha and their two month old daughter Amy and one boarder as well as Theophilus' sister-in-law Hannah Burdett (b.1815).
He died about 1882 in Denby Dale, Yorkshire. He was buried on 16 Oct 1882 in St. Nicholas' Church, Cumberworth, Yorkshire. Elizabeth BURDETT and Theophilus SENIOR had the following children:
