28. Dally River Burdett (Burdett) HAWCROFT was born on 14 Apr 1754 in Denby, Yorkshire. He was christened on 17 Apr 1754 in St. John's Church, Denby, Yorkshire. He died about 1798. By 1787, Dally River was known just as Burdett and he had a watering place on Nether Denby Common. He was one of the jurymen sworn to enquire and present the Court Roll of Denby and was an influential person in the area.

Dally River Burdett (Burdett) HAWCROFT and Sarah WILLHOUSE were married on 29 Mar 1773 in St. Nicholas' Church, Cumberworth, Yorkshire. Sarah WILLHOUSE died about 1783 in Denby, Yorkshire. Sarah and her two children all died in 1783. Dally River Burdett (Burdett) HAWCROFT and Sarah WILLHOUSE had the following children:

Dally River Burdett (Burdett) HAWCROFT and Hannah HARDISTY were married on 26 Dec 1785 in Silkstone Church, Silkstone, Yorkshire. Hannah HARDISTY was born about 1750. Dally River Burdett (Burdett) HAWCROFT and Hannah HARDISTY had the following children:
