She was the daughter of Thomas Hinchcliffe and Elizabeth Kidson. They had married
in Silkstone on 6 May 1782. Their children were James (1782), Martha (1783-1785),
Lydia (1785), Elizabeth (1788), Thomas (1790), Elijah (1792, m. Hannah Field
on 2 November 1812 and died 11 March 1851 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), Matthias
(1795), Eliza (1797), Anna (1800) and Clementina (1804). She was christened
on 19 Nov 1785 in High Hoyland, Yorkshire. She lived in Ingbirchworth,
Yorkshire in 1851. She was a widow and lived with her unmarried children
Frank, Martha and Clementina. She died of old age on 18 Apr 1865 in Ingbirchworth,
Yorkshire. She was buried on 22 Apr 1865 in St. John's Church, Denby,

Between 1871 and 1881, his nephew Herbert continued to live with him. Between 1881 and 1891 he was a Woollen Weaver in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. He was buried on 12 Mar 1899 in St. John's Church, Denby, Yorkshire. He died about Mar 1899 in Ingbirchworth, Yorkshire. He was a supporter of The Rev.
