1. Tobias BURDETT was christened on 8 May 1636 in St John the Baptist Church, Penistone,Yorkshire. The Bishops' Transcripts for Penistone records " Tobias filius Dallariveri Burdett Octo die einfor". He was born about 1636. He was buried on 26 Mar 1677 in St John the Baptist Church, Penistone,Yorkshire. He died about 1677. In the Hearth Tax of 1672, Tobias was assessed for a house with four fireplaces.

Tobias BURDETT and Mary DOWEGILL were married on 24 Nov 1659 in St John the Baptist Church, Penistone,Yorkshire. Tobias BURDETT and Mary DOWEGILL had the following children:

3	ii.	Mary BURDETT was born on 7 Feb 1661 in Denby, Yorkshire. She was christened on 1 Mar 1661 in St John the Baptist Church, Penistone,Yorkshire. She marrid a man called Smithson. She died about 1723.
4	iii.	Sarah BURDETT was christened on 14 Feb 1662 in St John the Baptist Church, Penistone,Yorkshire. She was born about 1662 in Denby, Yorkshire. She died about 1727.
