40. John BURDET was born about 1536 in Denby, Yorkshire. He sold lands in 1557. The Yorkshire Feet of Fines records that he sold "a Messuage with lands in Denby" to his father. He died about 1575 in Purston Jaglin, Featherstone, Yorkshire. He signed a will in 1575.

John BURDET and Cecelia UNKNOWN were married. Cecelia UNKNOWN died about 1588. John BURDET and Cecelia UNKNOWN had the following children:
