Almaricus (Aylmer) BURDET and
Agnes DE DENBY were married. Agnes DE DENBY
(daughter of William DE DENBY and Cicely DE HOYLAND) was born about 1258 in Cumberworth,
Yorkshire. She died about 1300 in Denby, Yorkshire.
As part of her dowry, Agnes brought the village of Skelmanthorpe into the Burdet
lands. A land transaction dated 29 November 1275 shows that Agnes held lands
and a messuage in Cawthorne. Almaricus (Aylmer) BURDET and Agnes DE DENBY had
the following children:
