116. Isaac BARRACLOUGH was born about 1846 in Denby, Yorkshire. He died about 1887 in Denby, Yorkshire. The Barraclough and Wood Pidge families were obviously very supportive and close-knit. After Catherina and Isaac's deaths three of their boys were looked after by their Isaac's sister Mary Ann Firth (nee Barraclough). Fron 1881-1891 Arthur lived with Martha Jackson (nee Wood Pidge) and in 1901 he lived with Sarah Ann Metcalfe (nee Wood Pidge). He was buried on 22 Dec 1887 in St. John's Church, Denby, Yorkshire.

Isaac BARRACLOUGH and Catherina WOOD PIDGE were married about 1872 in St. John's Church, Denby, Yorkshire. They lived Drayman/Farmer in Dry Hill, Denby, Yorkshire between 1873 and 1887. In 1881 Isaac and Catherina had Armitage and Jabez at home. Arthur was visiting her sister Martha. Catherina WOOD PIDGE was born about 1845 in Durkar, Wakefield, Yorkshire. John Wood Pidge (a farmer of 44 acres in Crigglestone, Wakefield b.1813 Wakefield) and Catherine (b.1815 Normanton) had ten children:- Elizabeth (1836), William (1838), Samuel (1839), Joseph (1841), Sarah Jane (1843), Martha (1844), Catherina (1845), Mary (1848), Fanny (1849) and Thomas (1851). Catherine died soon after Thomas' birth and John Wood Pidge died in 1858. Two of the children (William and Catherina) married two Barraclough siblings (Maria 1837 and Isaac 1846). He lived in 37 Old Road, Churwell, Yorkshire in 1891. He lived with his widowed aunt and cousins. In 1891 he was a Grocer's Assistant in 37 Old Road, Churwell, Yorkshire. He lived in Dry Hill, Denby, Yorkshire in 1901. In 1901 he was a Carter on the farm of Frank Wood in Dry Hill, Denby, Yorkshire.
