112. Maria BARRACLOUGH was born on 11 Oct 1837 in Denby, Yorkshire. She was christened on 3 Dec 1837 in St. John's Church, Denby, Yorkshire.

Maria BARRACLOUGH had the following children:

William BARRACLOUGH was born about 1857 in Exley Gate, Denby Dale, Yorkshire. He lived in Upper Bagden, Scissett, Yorkshire in 1871. William was enumerated as "illigitimate son" in the household of William and Maria Wood. He married and had three childre:- Ann (1878), Thomas (1880) and Francis (8 November 1883). Francis married Sarah Harrison(aka Sissy, Sally or Sadie; b.26 July 1893 Barnsley) in Barnsley. He was a bobbin mill foreman also known as Frank. They had one daughter, Marjorie, in 1917. Frank died in 1965 and Sarah died in 1986 (both in Bridlington, Yorkshire.)

Maria BARRACLOUGH and William WOOD PIDGE were married about 1860. They lived in Bilham Grange Farm, Bagden, Scissett, Yorkshire between 1861 and 1901. William WOOD PIDGE was born about 1838 in Chappelthorpe, Yorkshire. John Wood Pidge (a farmer of 44 acres in Crigglestone, Wakefield b.1813 Wakefield) and Catherine (b.1815 Normanton) had ten children:- Elizabeth (1836), William (1838), Samuel (1839), Joseph (1841), Sarah Jane (1843), Martha (1844), Catherina (1845), Mary (1848), Fanny (1849) and Thomas (1851). Catherine died soon after Thomas' birth and John Wood Pidge died in 1858. Two of the children (William and Catherina) married two Barraclough siblings (Maria 1837 and Isaac 1846). Between 1861 and 1901 he was a Farmer of 20 acres (later 43 acres) in Bilham Grange Farm, Bagden, Scissett, Yorkshire. His sons and daughter worked on the farm with him. The family was enumerated as Wood. Maria BARRACLOUGH and William WOOD PIDGE had the following children:
