Elizabeth BARRACLOUGH
and Harry HEATH were married about 1888 in Denby, Yorkshire. Harry
came from a line of Denby wheelwrights and carpenters. Harry worked with his
father John and the close proximity of the workshop to the Barraclough's blacksmith's
probably helped the courtship of Harry and Elizabeth. The retired vicar of Denby
made a gift of a Bible on the occasion of their marriage to Harry Heath and Elizabeth
Barraclough and it is inscribed " To Mr and Mrs Harry Heath on their wedding
day, with the best wishes for their happiness from the Rev. Job Johnson and his
family." They lived between 1891 and 1901. In 1891 Hugh Heath
(b.1860, shoemaker) lived with the family. He was Harry's elder brother. Harry HEATH (son of John HEATH and Ellen HANWELL) was
born on 16 Mar 1862 in Denby, Yorkshire. He was christened on 8
Jun 1862 in St. John's Church, Denby, Yorkshire. He lived in Fray
Royd, Cawthorne, Yorkshire between 1871 and 1881. Harry lived with
his parents and siblings. In 1881 he was a Joiner and Wheelwright in Fray Royd,
Cawthorne, Yorkshire. Between 1891 and 1901 he was a Joiner and Wheelwright
in Denby, Yorkshire. He died about 1922 in Denby, Yorkshire.
